Nestled in a quiet village, B&B Villa Grassi captivates with its vintage Italian charm reminiscent of the 70s. My stay in the spacious apartment, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, patio, and access to the tranquil garden, offered a serene retreat behind secure gates. The surrounding private garden provided a peaceful ambiance, perfect for relaxation.The warm hospitality of the on-site owners added a personal touch to the experience, despite the slight language barrier. The location, near Alberobello, is ideal for car travelers, with covered parking available. The property's unique style, featuring tiled floors and exposed wood beams, evoked a sense of nostalgia while providing modern comforts like air conditioning and a washing machine.The thoughtful amenities, such as the breakfast ingredients provided in the kitchen and the option for bike hire, added convenience to the stay. The presence of adorable kittens in the garden added a delightful touch to the overall atmosphere. Although I visited in the colder months, I could imagine the beauty of the property in the lushness of summer.Villa Grassi's cleanliness, complete facilities, and helpful host, Marco, made for a comfortable stay. The proximity to local restaurants serving authentic dishes further enhanced the experience. I would recommend Villa Grassi for a weekend getaway, followed by exploring the nearby attractions like Alberobello. My only regret was not being able to extend my stay to fully immerse myself in the tranquility of this charming retreat.
